(TargetLiberty.org) – Presidential candidate Nikki Haley’s campaign has been focusing its attacks on her potential Republican opponents, claiming that former President Trump is “consumed by the grievances of the past” and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) is not yet ready to join the national scene.

The campaign memo sent to donors from Betsy Ankney, Haley’s campaign manager, tries to elevate Haley above the rest of the political candidates in the GOP presidential primary. In the memo, it is pointed out that during her first quarter and early fundraising efforts, she had managed to raise more than $11 million in early primaries and caucus states like New Hampshire and Iowa.

The memo proceeds to state that Trump’s campaign on the other hand is just a “promise of more drama” instead of a focus on the American people progressing. It also points out that the former President was arraigned last week in a New York courtroom, while Haley was on the southern border discussing her plans for curbing illegal migration. The memo proceeds to attack Trump further by stating that he had a “pretty good Q1 if you count being indicted as ‘good.’”

DeSantis also comes under fire in the memo. While the Florida governor has not yet announced his presidential campaign it is widely speculated that he is going to be joining the presidential race in late spring, or early summer. However, Haley’s campaign claims that DeSantis is likely to make another misstep like his recent description of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine as a “territorial dispute.”

She proceeded to dismiss all other candidates in the memo, by inquiring which other candidates.
