NFL Player Dies
(TargetLiberty.org) – A former football player, Antonio Dennard, has been murdered. He played for three different NFL teams in his career. Tragically, his life was cut short, and he died in the hospital after being shot outside a Pennsylvania bar early Sunday morning. So far, police don’t know why he was killed — but is it part of an emerging pattern?

Dennard started his pro football career with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2012. He went on to play on the practice squads for the New York Giants and Green Bay Packers, before moving to the Arena Football League for the rest of his career. After he left the pros, he began coaching young players to pass on his knowledge and love of the game.
Early Sunday morning, Dennard was shot outside Legends Bar in Muhlenberg Township, Pennsylvania. He was taken to the hospital but was pronounced dead at 3:15 a.m. His death has been ruled a homicide, and police are investigating, but so far haven’t announced any arrests — or even a suspected motive.
Dennard was the second football player to be shot in the last two months; on August 28, Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson was shot in the leg during an apparent robbery attempt. The killing of Dennard, on top of Robinson’s wounding, raises a question — are criminals targeting athletes because of their wealth? If it turns out Dennard’s death resulted from a robbery gone wrong, that raises a definite possibility.
