(TargetLiberty.org) – The 2022 elections are going to be incredibly consequential. Republicans could take back the majorities in both the House and the Senate, halting the Democratic agenda in its tracks. A new poll shows Americans are very unhappy with the leadership currently at the helm.
According to a new poll from The Economic/YouGov, 60% of respondents believe President Joe Biden is either “very weak” or “somewhat weak.” Of the registered voters who responded to the survey, 58% felt he’s weak. Further, 44% of those polled said the president is “not honest and trustworthy. Of those who feel they can’t trust him, 52% are independents.
A majority of Americans (60%) see President Joe Biden as a weak leader, including 41% who say Biden is ''very weak,'' according to the latest Economist/YouGov poll released Wednesday.

The poll was conducted from January 2-4. Pollsters spoke to 1,500 adults, 1,201 of whom were registered voters.
Not only is the survey bad news for Biden, but it’s also not great for the Democratic Party. Historically, the party in power in the White House loses seats in the midterms. With Biden’s popularity and trustworthiness tanking, that could make it even harder for the Left to win their races.
The results of the midterms could also have a major impact on the 2024 election. Former President Donald Trump has said he’ll decide whether to run again after he sees how Republicans perform in the midterms. In other words, a lot is riding on November and Biden’s polling doesn’t look great for Dems.
