Nelson Mandela’s GRANDSON Goes After Meghan Markle
(TargetLiberty.org) – Meghan Markle gave another interview last week, but it didn’t go down as well as she hoped. The renegade royal quickly received a barrage of criticism. Now, a relative of the late Nelson Mandela has slammed her as well.
When a 6,500-word interview with Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, appeared in The Cut magazine on August 29, the 41-year-old ex-actress went all out to boost her declining popularity and make herself relevant again. One of the interview’s highlights was her memory of attending the premiere of the new live-action “The Lion King” remake. The duchess said a South African cast member told her that when she married Prince Harry, “we rejoiced in the streets the same we did when Mandela was freed from prison.”
“Overcoming 60 years of apartheid is not the same as marrying a white prince.”

The global media widely criticized the interview. The New York Post labeled Meghan “the petulant princess,” Das Bild said she was “shameless,” and an Australian talk show host called her “a total tosser.” Now Zwelivelile “Mandla” Mandela, the grandson of South Africa’s first black president, has added his own contribution. He said his grandfather’s release after 27 years in prison “can never be compared” to celebrating a wedding, adding, “Overcoming 60 years of apartheid is not the same as marrying a white prince.”
Veteran actor John Kani, the only South African cast member in “The Lion King.” wasn’t actually at the premiere and dismissed Meghan’s story as “a faux pas.” Is this another case where, as the Queen devastatingly replied to Meghan’s previous claims, “recollections may vary?”
