(TargetLiberty.org) Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) on Monday noted that there should be an investigation into why former President Trump had not publicized information regarding the balloons flying across the U.S. According to some reports prior to the incident that took place a few days ago, similar apparatuses had entered the U.S. airspace at least three more times during Trump’s administration.

Greene took to Twitter to say that if that was indeed true then there needed to be an investigation into why the Pentagon ordered that President Trump should not inform anyone about the Chinese Spy Balloons. Greene has been a longtime ally of the former President. In her tweet, she added that the president is “the Commander in Chief”
which is why it was important to investigate and find those who broke the chain of command.

On Saturday the suspected Chinese surveillance balloon was shot down off the coast of South Carolina. The balloon had been floating across the country for a few days at that point, in what many have described as a clear attempt to survey sensitive sites. A day after the balloon had been brought down, a Pentagon official revealed that similar aircraft have been spotted three times during the Trump administration.

Former President Trump was quick to deny that was the case. John Bolton, a former Trump national security adviser, also noted that he had not heard anything about such incidents during his time serving in the Trump administration.
