( – On Friday, X owner and tech billionaire Elon Musk continued to face criticism from the White House, Jewish leaders, and other media advertisers, including Apple and Disney, over having embraced an antisemitic conspiracy theory a couple of days earlier.

On Wednesday in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, that has since been heavily criticized Musk responded to another user who had been accused of the Jews hating white people, to state that he was telling the “actual truth.”

The Tesla and SpaceX CEO followed up his original tweet by expressing criticism of the ADL or Anti-Defamation League, an organization that was created by Jews in opposition to antisemitism. For the past few months, there has been a conflict between the ADL and Musk, as the organization has been attempting to reduce extremism online. Musk has argued that this campaign has caused his social media platform ad sales.

ADL’s CEO Jonathan Greenblatt argued on Thursday morning that the way Musk was acting was dangerous, especially considering that this was a time of widespread antisemitism across the world and in the United States. He argued that it was dangerous for someone to be using their platform in support of antisemitic theories.

The White House also called Musk out on his comments, stating that the antisemitism he was promoting was going against the country’s core values.

However, many accounts with a history of promoting antisemitic views celebrated the tweet by Musk who had agreed with them regarding their perspective on the “Jewish question.”
