( – The war between Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas has led to a division among MAGA supporters over how the United States should respond to the war that has led to over 4,000 Israelis and Palestinians losing their lives within 9 days.

Republicans are generally more united on the topic of Israel than the Democrats, still following the recent conflict a lot of people have been sympathizing with Palestinians which has resulted in division in the right.

Many conservatives have continued to support the Israeli government, however, there are some MAGA supporters who have recently advocated against the U.S. providing support for Israel following the fighting that started on October 7, following the Hamas deadly attack against Israel.

After the terrorist attack, Israel retaliated by launching heavy airstrikes on Gaza. They have also called for an evacuation of the territory as they prepare for a ground invasion into Palestine. The war has led to 1,400 Israelis and 2,800 Palestinians in Gaza losing their lives.

Ian Smith, a conservative fitness influencer took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to respond to a post about blacklisting pro-Palestine supporters “from decent society.” Smith compared the current situation with the people who refused to get vaccinated and argued that this statement sounded similar to the calls to have those who refused to get vaccinated “banned from society.”

Smith, who has previously made statements denying the Holocaust, stated that the post meant anyone who did not give Israel their full support and argued that there is no option for being neutral or “wishing for land.”
