(TargetLiberty.org) – Influential Trump ally Senator Lindsay Graham (R-SC) is tied with the Democrat challenger who’s hoping to take his seat in November. A new poll released on Sunday shows 45% of likely voters plan to vote for Graham, while 44% support the Dem, Jaime Harrison. So far, 9% are still undecided.
The poll also showed attitudes regarding Graham’s support for President Trump are likely split on partisan lines. Forty-six percent of likely voters think he agrees with Trump too much, while 54% – approximately the same as Graham’s supporters plus undecideds – think he agrees with the president the right amount or not enough.

Harrison is mounting a serious challenge, and has raised millions to finance his campaign; Graham said last week that he’s lagging badly in financial terms. The poll suggests that Graham’s handling of Amy Coney Barrett’s Supreme Court nomination isn’t likely to boost (or harm) his chances much, so right now the outcome is too close to call.
