GOP Leader Claims Trump Deserves Credit For SCOTUS Rulings
(TargetLiberty.org) – A senior Republican has praised the Supreme Court’s recent pro-life ruling, and pointed out the role played by former President Donald Trump. The senator said Trump deserved “the lion’s share” of credit for the decision. Trump himself has backed the vote as a victory for states’ rights.

Senator Lindsay Graham (R-SC) told Fox News on Sunday, that Trump worked so hard to appoint three conservative judges to the Supreme Court by creating the conditions that allowed the vote to happen. The SCOTUS repeal vote played out along partisan lines, with five of the six conservative justices — including Trump appointees Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett — supporting the vote to overturn the ruling.
Graham, a long-time opponent of abortion, said Trump had stood behind “all of us who have been working for the last 50 years to get this right,” and called the decision “a huge victory” for pro-life campaigners. He also slammed Liberals who tried to intimidate justices after last month’s leak of the Court’s draft decision, calling them “constitutional anarchists” and predicting a backlash against activists who try to use non-democratic methods.
Trump himself praised the Supreme Court decision, saying it was “following the Constitution” and restored rights to the states. Modestly, he didn’t take any credit for the outcome and insisted “God made the decision.”
