Top Democrats Create Super-Spreader Event At White House Dinner Party
(TargetLiberty.org) – On April 30, many people attended the annual swanky White House Correspondents Dinner, complete with the President of the United States, major network reporters, and big-name celebrities. Just a few days later, several attendees reported testing positive for COVID-19, causing some to call the dinner a superspreader event.

Following the news, President of the White House Correspondents Association Steven Portnoy stated the event protocols were over and above CDC and DC Health Department guidelines before wishing those who fell ill a “speedy recovery.”
Surprisingly, the event didn’t require masks for those who attended but did require vaccination and negative COVID tests for entry. Since the dinner became a weekend event, complete with parties in various places before and after the dinner, there’s no telling where the COVID-positive event-goers picked up the virus.
ABC’s Jon Karl was among those who now have the coronavirus, and reports say he shook hands with President Joe Biden before heading up on stage. However, it was likely he was not COVID-positive at the time because anyone in contact with the president needed to take a more in-depth test than a regular coronavirus swab.
While some may see the dinner as a superspreader, others believe the event was in line with Americans who are now living their everyday lives alongside the virus.
