(TargetLiberty.org) Vice President Harris called the response of the Republican lawmakers during the State of the Union address out. Harris said that a lot of what occurred during the speech was “theatrics.” She continued by noting that President Biden’s record speaks for itself when it comes to bipartisanship.

During an interview on ABC’s “Good Morning America”, Harris noted that there had been some substantial bipartisan work in the past couple of years. She continued by saying that the President had no intention of seeing that stop, regardless of how cynical some people got about it.

In a different interview with “CBS Mornings” on Wednesday, Harris said that Biden’s focus is always on the American people and not on the “gamesmanship that was being played in the room.”

In terms of the bipartisan work that has been undertaken under Biden, Harris pointed to the infrastructure bill in 2021, which helped provide funds to thousands of projects across the nation. She also spoke about the bipartisan gun safety bill that was passed after the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas.

Throughout Biden’s speech, GOP lawmakers frequently shouted when they disagreed with what was being said. When Biden spoke about how some Republicans wanted to sunset Medicare and Social Security there was a lot of shouting. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) could also be heard over the screams shouting “liar,” at Biden.

In a different part of the speech shouts about securing the border were prevalent, and when Biden spoke about fentanyl and the border Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.) shouted, “It’s your fault!”
