(TargetLiberty.org) – This week, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis was accused of having met with Vice President Kamala Harris before bringing forward the charges against former President Donald Trump in the Georgia election interference case. However, the “meeting” details do not appear to be exactly what they seem.

This week, Attorney Ashley Merchant claimed that a Georgia state Senate committee, which is currently handling the investigations into Willis after the allegations of wrongdoing that emerged against her, had found that according to the White House records Willis and Harris had a meeting prior to the indictment.

Willis brought forward a case against 19 defenders, including former President Donald Trump, alleging that they had all been involved in a scheme to overturn the presidential election results in Georgia in 2020. Trump has pleaded not guilty to all of the charges against him in this case and has repeatedly argued that the 13 charges against him are politically motivated. He has further alleged that the cases against him are just aiming to block him because he is the Republican primary race front-runner and the party’s likely nominee.

Last month Willis was called to provide evidence in a two-day hearing relating to her alleged affair with special prosecutor Nathan Wade who she had hired in the high-profile case. The accusations against her were brought forward by co-defendant Michael Roman who had argued that the two had also received financial benefits from taxpayer’s money.
