(TargetLiberty.org) – A recent poll released on DailyMail.com has found that Kamala Harris has been rated the worst vice president in decades, having the lowest approval ratings.
The survey found that 40 percent of respondents thought Harris was worse than both of the Dick Cheney and Mike Pence, the two previous Republican Vice Presidents.
With President Biden’s 2024 presidential reelection campaign underway many American voters are also advocating for a different running mate for the president. The poll found that around half of the 1,000 respondents who had participated in the poll, including 25 percent of black and 27 percent of Democrats who responded, were pushing for Biden to examine other possible options for the position.
Polling firm JL Partners co-founder James Johnson pointed out that voters consider Biden’s Vice President to potentially be the only person more incompetent than him. He added that between thinking that Harris is “incompetent” or “worthless” Harris has little chance of improving her position with voters.
This sentiment is not only prevalent among Republicans but also independents, black voters, and voters between the ages of 18 and 29. As he pointed out Joe Biden’s campaign has to face a lot of criticisms and concerns relating to Biden’s age and his choice of Vice President is making those worse.
Survey respondents who were asked to use one word to assess Harris’ performance as vice President stated she was “incompetent.” Among both Republicans and independents many negative descriptors such as “unqualified,” “robot,” and a “joke” were far more prevalent than positive words such as “smart,” “cool” or “strong.”
