(TargetLiberty.org) – The Biden administration still seems determined to undo all President Trump’s achievements, even if it puts American lives at risk. This week, Reuters reported that the Department of Justice (DOJ) has scrapped a policy that only served to make sure our laws are enforced.
The Justice Department has repealed a policy put in place during the Trump administration that restricted "sanctuary cities" from receiving federal grants for criminal justice efforts. https://t.co/nYS7NaXo5X

On April 28, Reuters reported that as of two weeks ago, the DOJ has dropped Trump’s policy on reducing federal grant funds to so-called “sanctuary cities.” These cities ban their own law enforcement agencies from cooperating with federal immigration authorities, essentially letting illegal immigrants evade enforcement. Last year, after trying to persuade them to enforce the law, President Trump had to use an executive order to cut off hundreds of millions of dollars in federal grants to non-compliant cities.
Now, the Biden administration has reversed that policy on the orders of Attorney General Merrick Garland. This means the federal government will restore massive funding to those sanctuary cities that refuse to work with federal agencies to enforce the law.
