(TargetLiberty.org) – In December, after Joe Biden won the election, he said that he would not mandate the COVID-19 vaccine. In July, Press Secretary Jen Psaki said requiring the shots was “not the role of the federal government.” It looks like the administration is now changing its course.
On September 9, President Biden announced a sweeping vaccine mandate for most federal employees. He also said he would use OSHA to require all companies with more than 100 employees to require either weekly COVID-19 tests or the vaccination. The POTUS’ order could impact more than 100 million Americans.

Conservatives immediately slammed the president for his order. Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel announced her intention to sue the administration to protect Americans’ rights. Several governors also said they would take the president to court over the new order.
South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster (R) said he was going to “fight [Democrats] to the gates of hell to protect the liberty and livelihood” of the residents of his state. South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem (R) said her legal team is ready to file a lawsuit, too.
It looks like this is a fight that’s going to play out in the federal courts.
