(TargetLiberty.org) – On March 9, Ivanka Trump, the former president’s daughter and one-time senior adviser, made her first public appearance since her father stepped down as president. In a visit to Florida, she helped distribute food and promoted a charity for trafficking victims.
Trump also visited Apopka, FL to help deliver food assistance boxes. The deliveries were part of the ”Farmers to Families” program set up by the Trump administration, which involves the FDA supporting small farmers by buying food from them and distributing it to food banks and community organizations.
The farmers to families food box is an amazing program that must be continued! @IvankaTrump created this beautiful initiative to support farmers and families struggling because of COVID19. ❤️🇺🇸https://t.co/nQASMGYlkM

Trump worked with Apopka churches and community groups as they handed out over 1,300 boxes, and she also helped deliver food to the city’s Lifeboat Project shelter. The Lifeboat Project offers refuge to victims of human trafficking, a cause Ivanka has promoted before.
