(TargetLiberty.org) – On November 27, Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh was shot while traveling in a vehicle. He was taken to the hospital where he died. Iran is now vowing to get to the bottom of his murder.
The day after Fakhrizadeh’s death, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said his government isn’t going to allow his murder to go “unanswered.” He blamed the “evil hands of global arrogance and Zionist mercenaries…” for the killing. According to reports, the scientist was reportedly heading the country’s nuclear program before his death.

According to the NCRI, Fakhrizadeh was in charge of the Iranian regime's efforts for producing nuclear weapons.

The Iranian president didn’t name a suspect in the shooting. However, the New York Times reported an unnamed US official said Israel was responsible for the hit. There’s no evidence to support the claim, it’s just speculation at this point. Unfortunately, Iran is now vowing revenge and that puts the Jewish state at risk.
