Illegal Immigrant Who Allegedly Plotted July 4th Shooting Found Linked to Mexican Drug Cartel

Wannabe Mass SHOOTER Linked To A Dangerous Mexican Cartel

(TargetLiberty.org) – On July 4, a shooter murdered seven people at a parade in Highland Park, Illinois. Just days before, hundreds of miles away, in Virginia, police thwarted a plot by undocumented immigrants to carry out a massacre in that state, as well. New information has now been released about the suspects.

On July 1, Richmond police received a tip from a citizen who overheard a conversation about an attack being planned on Independence Day. The massacre was supposed to happen at the Dogwood Dell Amphitheater, where the city’s fireworks show was being held.

On July 5, police arrested Julio Alvarado-Dubon, age 52, and his alleged accomplice, Rolman Balcarcel Ac, age 38. Both men were in the US illegally, and each was charged with a count of gun possession by a non-US citizen.

The Associated Press reported the tipster who foiled the alleged plot also said there was a connection between Balcarcel and the Los Zetas cartel. Journalists asked his attorney, Samuel Simpson V, if he was connected to the dangerous Mexican group, and he claimed, “That’s a non sequitur to me. That’s not a Guatemalan thing.” However, that isn’t true.

As far back as 2011, there have been reports that Los Zetas had operations inside Guatemala, which borders Mexico to the south. In 2015, Jairo Orellana Morales, 41, the country’s leader of the cartel, was extradited to the US. It’s very much a “Guatemalan thing.”

What do you think about this case and the suspects’ possible connection to a dangerous drug gang?
