ICE Head Admits Immigrants Aren’t Being Tracked After Release

ICE Head Admits No Action Being Taken Amid Surge At Border

( – The acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has admitted that once illegal immigrants make it into the country, many of them are not being tracked. They could be heading for any state, pressurizing services and planning crimes, and nobody in the federal government has a clue where they are.

On May 13, Representative Ashley Hinson (R-IA), who sits on the House Appropriations Committee’s Homeland Security subcommittee, tweeted the news from acting ICE chief Tae Johnson’s testimony before the subcommittee. Asked by Hinton to confirm that ICE couldn’t track illegals set loose under the Biden administration’s “catch and release” policy, he admitted there were “some gaps” in their ability – just as the number of migrants trying to break into the US surges.

Meanwhile, Vice President Harris, who was put in charge of the immigration crisis by Biden, still hasn’t visited the border to see what’s happening there. Now members of her own party are joining Republicans in calling on her to take action – but if even ICE isn’t taking illegal immigration seriously anymore, will Harris make do any differently?
