(TargetLiberty.org) – The mainstream media doesn’t like to talk about this, but Hunter Biden’s behavior — and President Joe Biden’s involvement in it — are a huge political embarrassment. Now, at last, Hunter’s repeated scandals seem to be breaking through to the public. Even ultra-liberal CNN has finally admitted he’s becoming an electoral liability.

On the August 7 edition of CNN’s “Reliable Sources,” host Brian Stelter brought up the topic the media has been avoiding for years — the antics of the president’s son. Stelter was discussing a column by Maureen Dowd that appeared in Saturday’s edition of The New York Times. She argued that Biden should abandon any plans to run again in 2024, and leave the Democrats free to choose and prepare a successor.
Stelter went further and pointed to the federal investigation underway against Hunter and a serious possibility of charges, “This is a real problem for the Bidens.” He speculated the growing scandal around the younger Biden could persuade the president not to run again. Guest Michael LaRosa, the first lady’s former press secretary, insisted the Bidens decide things as a family and “will make that decision when it’s time,” but claimed the commander-in-chief is focused on his job right now, not family issues.
Could Biden really be pushed into retirement by his son’s activities, or will his stubbornness spur him on to lose?
