[WATCH] MASSIVE Factory Goes Up In Smoke
(TargetLiberty.org) – US food supplies are now facing even more disruption after a flour mill was seriously damaged in a fire. The blaze destroyed vital grain storage at the historic plant. It’s not clear at this time how much impact the fire will have on food supplies.

About 3 p.m. on August 9, firefighters in Pendleton, Oregon, were called to a small fire at the Pendleton Flour Mills, a 112-year-old structure currently operated by Grain Craft. The fire was quickly controlled but the fire department remained on watch in case it reignited — which it did, around 4 a.m. on Wednesday morning. Unfortunately, this time, the fire blazed up intensely and completely destroyed the grain storage building. Police say the structure was completely full of dry grain, giving the fire plenty of fuel; firefighters fear it could keep burning for days.
With 13 mills, Grain Craft is the third largest flour miller in the US. The Pendleton mill is one of its older and smaller locations, but losing its production will still have an impact. It’s hard to say for sure, but with its silos and their contents destroyed the mill won’t be producing flour for a while, adding to existing shortages in the supply chain.
