(TargetLiberty.org) – A network of social media accounts is pouring out anti-US and pro-China propaganda, according to new research. The February 4 report by social media analysts Graphika says the network’s output aligns with what the Beijing regime is saying.
Graphika – who have nicknamed the network Spamouflage Dragon – say they don’t know who operates the network’s array of fake accounts, but they can tell the propaganda is aimed at audiences outside the US. Hong Kong, Taiwan and Venezuela are all prime targets. According to Graphika, the basic theme is that China is doing well and the US – which one network video called a “failed state” – is not.
JUST OUT: Update on pro-China op Spamouflage Dragon.
Still spammy, but prolific and persistent, and getting some traction for the first time.
Over 1,400 videos in the last year.

Recent topics exploited by the network include the Wuhan virus pandemic and the January 6 Capitol riots. So far over 1,400 videos have been distributed by linked accounts, in a mix of English and Chinese. Some accounts also tweet in Spanish, for Latin American audiences. Whatever language they use, though, they’re all supporting one group – the Chinese Communist Party.
