(TargetLiberty.org) – A huge majority of Americans think failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton should be investigated for her role in the “Russia collusion” fraud. Amazingly, it also includes a significant majority of Democrats.
A new poll, conducted last month by TechnoMetrica Institute of Policy and Politics (TIPP) and released on February 15, found nearly 75% of Americans who have been following Special Counsel John Durham’s probe believe Clinton should be investigated by prosecutors over her involvement in the scandal.
"Three out of four of 1,308 Americans polled by TechnoMetrica Institute of Policy and Politics last month said they think it’s important prosecutors investigate Clinton for her role in the Russiagate scandal along with her top campaign advisers. https://t.co/HEnYYzA3dR pic.twitter.com/WwbSyUPRaM

Predictably, the highest level of support for an investigation was among Republicans, at 91%. A substantial 65% of independents also feel Clinton’s role should be investigated. The real surprise is Democrats were slightly more hostile to Clinton than independents, with 66% wanting an investigation. The last time TIPP asked this question, in October, just 46% of Democrats answered yes.
The Durham probe has been steadily collecting indicators the Clinton campaign was involved in, and even paying for, a deliberate attempt to smear President Trump during the 2016 election campaign and through his first months in office.
Is the growing pile of evidence against the former first lady finally turning Democrats against her? Durham’s indictments are chewing away at the edges of Hillary’s old campaign team, but they’re moving towards the center – and it seems not many Democrats will mourn her if she falls.
