(TargetLiberty.org) – Joe Biden chose Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) as his running mate to keep the Left of the party on board with his more centrist platform. But that could result in a messy backfire – because it seems the idea of being president herself has crossed Harris’ mind. Talking to Arizona business owners Monday, she seemed to briefly forget who’s leading the Dem ticket and who’s the loyal sidekick.
Talking about Democrat plans for supporting small businesses – something the Dems have been spectacularly unwilling to do when it comes to approving a coronavirus stimulus bill – the left-wing senator started off, “A Harris administration…” She then seemed to correct herself, adding, “Together with Joe Biden as the president of the United States,” before realizing that this didn’t exactly clarify matters and beginning for a third time, “The Biden-Harris administration will…”

While Harris’ slip has attracted plenty of online jokes – John Gabriel of conservative news site Ricochet joked, “Joe better hire a food taster” – there’s an excellent chance that a Biden victory would hand Harris the presidency. If he wins, Biden – who will be 78 in November – will be the oldest person ever elected as president by a full eight years. He’ll also hit the average US male life expectancy in October 2021. “Vote Biden, get Harris” is a snappy political slogan, but it’s also the most likely outcome of a Biden win.
