(TargetLiberty.org) – Left-wing Democrats, emboldened by the fact Joe Biden is in the White House, are enthusiastically launching witch hunts against every conservative they can find. There’s even pressure on the FBI to blame social media site Parler for the January 6 Capitol riot. Now Republicans are saying any investigations need to be even-handed.
On January 21, Representative Carolyn Maloney (D-NY), the ranking Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, requested an FBI investigation into Parler over the riot that left five people dead. Now two GOP members of the committee are saying that if the investigation goes ahead it shouldn’t focus on Parler – because other social media platforms deserve some attention, too.
Breaking. Inbox: Today, Rep. Carolyn Maloney, the Chairwoman of the Committee on Oversight and Reform, sent a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray requesting a comprehensive investigation into the role that the social media site Parler played in the assault on the Capitol.

Committee ranking member James Comer (R-KY) and his colleague Greg Steube (R-FL) wrote to Maloney on Monday telling her that focusing on one conservative-leaning platform while ignoring notoriously liberal ones like Facebook and Twitter is “blatantly and overtly partisan.” They said it illustrated a “growing alliance between Big Tech and Democrats” to censor right-wing views. This alliance won’t surprise anyone, but it’s definitely where the FBI should be looking.
