Google Refuses to Approve “Truth Social” App for Play Store

Google Refuses to Approve

Big Tech Launches ALL-OUT WAR On Donald Trump

( – Truth Social has not been available on the Android Play Store since its inception. Android users have been able to preorder it but can’t do anything else until Google approves the app. However, the tech giant is refusing to take the next step.

On August 26, Trump Media and Technology Group CEO Devin Nunes appeared on Real America’s Voice to discuss the situation regarding Google. He said he doesn’t know why the tech company is taking so long to approve the app in the Play Store.

Google responded to the remarks made by Nunes through a statement to CNBC on August 30, claiming it notified former President Donald Trump’s social media company on August 19 about problems with its moderation system. The tech giant explained that the app submission has not been approved because “having effective systems for moderating user-generated content is a condition of [the] terms of service.” In other words, unless Truth Social creates a robust system to remove allegedly harmful content, Google will not approve its application.

The statement from Google led to a response from Trump Media, stating that its app was created to build a “vibrant, family-friendly environment.” It went on to say it would not “litigate its business matters in the public sphere,” but the company looks “forward to Google approving Truth Social at their earliest convenience.”
