(TargetLiberty.org) – On Tuesday, late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel threatened to file a lawsuit against Aaron Rodgers, an NFL quarterback after he had mentioned Kimmel while talking about Jeffrey Epstein.
Kimmel took to X, formerly known as Twitter to address the comments where he pointed out that the comments made by Rodgers had endangered his family. He added that he had never had any contact, met, or even visited Epstein. He added that his name was not present on any “list” and that Rodgers was clearly unable to distinguish between what was and was not real.
Kimmel, who argued that these comments had put his family in danger, threatened that if Rodgers continued with such remarks, then the two of them would be debating this case in court.
On Tuesday, Rodgers appeared on ESPN’s “The Pat McAfee Show” where he spoke about Kimmel while talking about the list that included the names of those who had been in contact with Epstein. He added that there were many people, including Kimmel who hoped that the list of who had flown with Epstein would never be released.
Rodgers had often made controversial comments relating to current affairs and public health. In the past, he had openly opposed vaccination and had advocated for unproven treatment for the pandemic. He also has a history with Kimmel, which might explain why he chose to refer to the talk show host during his remarks.
In the past, Kimmel had slammed Rodgers over his remarks relating to Epstein, and had argued that he was a “tin foil hater.” He had also joked on his late-night show that Rodgers needed to “revisit that concussion protocol.
