( – Several hosts at Fox News, a network known for its conservative stance, have voiced doubts about the House Republicans’ push to impeach President Joe Biden. These hosts have pointed out the lack of solid evidence to support the corruption claims against Biden.

The House of Representatives, in a vote divided along party lines (221-212), has initiated an impeachment inquiry against Biden. This investigation arises from accusations that Biden profited from his son Hunter Biden’s international business dealings during his tenure in office. The inquiry grants enhanced subpoena powers to the Ways and Means, Judiciary, and Oversight committees.

The White House and Hunter Biden’s legal representatives have refuted the allegations central to this impeachment move. Critics argue that the inquiry has failed to unearth any substantial evidence. The White House has dismissed these impeachment efforts by the GOP as frivolous and a waste of time.

Despite Fox News’ generally critical stance towards Joe and Hunter Biden, Steve Doocy, the co-host of “Fox and Friends,” has been notably skeptical about the impeachment investigation. In a recent episode, Doocy highlighted that although House Republicans possess various records and financial documents, they have not successfully established any misconduct by the President.

In another segment, Doocy mentioned that Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa, a Republican, conceded that the impeachment inquiry has not found any incriminating evidence against Biden. Doocy quoted Grassley saying, “the facts haven’t taken me to that point where I can say that the president is guilty of anything.” Grassley, having spearheaded the Senate’s investigation, is viewed as a key figure in this context.

Doocy’s consistent critique of the impeachment proceedings led James Comer, the Chairman of the Oversight and Accountability Committee and a leading figure in the inquiry, to declare a boycott of appearances on “Fox and Friends.”

Comer, in a Newsmax interview, expressed his frustration with Doocy’s stance, noting that he stopped appearing on the show because of Doocy’s critical views. He speculated about Doocy’s motivations, suggesting that his opinions do not align with the typical Fox News viewer’s perspectives.
