(TargetLiberty.org) – On Wednesday, a former Trump associate testified before a Florida grand jury hearing evidence in connection to the classified documents handling case that Trump is currently facing.
Taylor Budowich, a former Trump spokesperson, stated on Twitter that he could only describe what had occurred that day as a deeply troubling and bogus effort for the government to employ all of its power in order to try and “get” Trump. He proceeded to say that nonetheless he had fulfilled his legal obligation and had appeared before the grand jury where he provided his testimony.
In the post, he added that the United States had turned into a “sick and broken nation” and that this decline is caused by President Biden and the Democrats who he described as “power hungry.” He proceeded to say that he would not be “intimidated by this weaponization of government” and that in his eyes it was time for the nation to come together again and “make America great again.”
Budowich has served as Trump’s spokesperson after he left the White House in 2021. He is currently the head of MAGA Inc., a super PAC supporting former President Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign.
The grand jury in Florida which has been convened to hear the latest evidence in the investigation overseen by special counsel Jack Smith into whether the former President had indeed mishandled classified documents after leaving the White House in 2021. The increase in activity by Smith has led to many believing that the special counsel is preparing to make a decision on whether or not to indict.
