(TargetLiberty.org) – A survivor of Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking ring has filed a lawsuit against Prince Andrew, the Duke of York. She alleges that the duke, who’s the son of Queen Elizabeth II and ninth in line to the British throne, had sex with her three times in 2001 when she was 17, and a minor under US law.
New developments tonight in the Prince Andrew saga – as a victim of Jeffrey Epstein, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, files lawsuit in a US court to sue the Queen’s son, according to @ABC.
Prince Andrew has previously denied her claims emphatically. https://t.co/pau9wsa5Vi

Virginia Roberts Giuffre was reportedly recruited into Epstein’s sex empire at age 16, and like many other girls, was employed as a masseuse to Epstein, who then sexually assaulted her. She’s one of at least 140 victims of the late millionaire’s industrial-scale abuse.
More controversially, Giuffre claims she was trafficked for sex to several of Epstein’s high-profile associates – including Prince Andrew, the Duke of York. She alleges she had sex with Andrew in London, New York, and on Epstein’s private island in the US Virgin Islands, and that all three occasions were statutory rape because of her age. However, the age of consent in New York is 17 and in the UK it’s 16, so she wasn’t legally underage in either of those jurisdictions. In the US Virgin Islands, the age of consent is 18.
Giuffre’s lawsuit has been filed under a New York law allowing child victims of abuse to sue their attackers. The deadline for filing claims under this law is August 14. The statute of limitations on the alleged offenses expired years ago, so there’s no prospect of criminal charges, and the UK likely won’t arrest or extradite Prince Andrew for a civil suit of this nature. However, this is sure to be a high-profile case.
