Dr. Oz Is Official Winner of Pennsylvania Senate Primary

Outcome Of Pennsylvania Election Proves Trump’s Endorsement Is The Golden Ticket

(TargetLiberty.org) – Former President Donald Trump endorsed Dr. Mehmet Oz for the Pennsylvania Republican Senate nomination just weeks before the vote. The doctor, who spent years hosting a medical talk show on television, was locked in a recount with fellow conservative David McCormick. Now the race is over, and Oz is one step closer to victory.

On Wednesday, June 8, Pennsylvania acting Secretary of State Leigh Chapman’s office revealed the final vote count in the primary. Dr. Oz won by just 951 votes out of more than 1.3 million ballots cast in the May primary. The tally officially awarded the doctor a win, but his opponent had actually conceded a week ago. McCormick promised he would support Oz and help bring the party together to defeat the Democratic candidate, Lt. Governor John Fetterman.

Dr. Oz is a strong supporter of the Second Amendment. He has discussed his opposition to COVID-19 restrictions, his desire to see America become a pro-life nation, and is an avid Trump supporter.

According to his campaign website, Oz decided to run for office after watching Democrats and health officials politicize the pandemic. He said the country needed to change, and he wants to help that happen. His next opponent, Fetterman, is currently off the campaign trail after suffering a stroke. However, he is expected to fully recover.
