(TargetLiberty.org) – On Sunday Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis alleged that the Trump administration had colluded with Big Tech in order to hide the 2020 story about Hunter Biden. He argued that the former President at the time had failed to fire all those who were involved in the case.
In an interview on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures” with Maria Bartiromo, Biden pointed out that when looking at the Hunter Biden censorship case it is obvious that all of the agencies involved in the collusion were Trump’s own agencies. He added that if it had been him, he would have never allowed this collusion to take place, claiming that all those involved would have been fired.
Republicans have repeatedly expressed concerns about the “collusion” between the FBI and Big Tech which effectively reduced the exposure of certain conservative viewpoints. This was evidenced further by Twitter’s decision to limit the reach of the Hunter Biden laptop story prior to the presidential election.
Twitter executives have revealed that while their decision to reduce the reach of the story may have been incorrect, the Democrats were not in any way involved with this choice.
DeSantis, who is known for taking on Big Tech in Florida, is using one of Trump’s most frequent points regarding the New York Post story against him. DeSantis, while repeating Trump’s claims about ending the weaponization of the government, pointed out that the big difference was that while Trump claims that “the jury is still out” when it comes to FBI Director Wray, he believes that the only way forward is by completely cleaning house at the Department of Justice.
