(TargetLiberty.org) – Fox News commentator Dan Bongino blasted the tech industry on Monday, January 11, condemning the coordinated attack that shut down social media site Parler. The platform, popular with Conservatives thanks to its lack of censorship, was taken offline early Monday following attacks by Liberals over the weekend.
After the Capitol riots last week, Liberals raced to blame the violence on any Conservative they could target. One of the victims was social media upstart Parler, which went offline on January 11 after Amazon Web Services shut down their hosting. Google also removed the app from its store. Responding later that day, Bongino compared those cheering Parler’s closure to intellectuals who approved of the early Soviet purges, only to find themselves purged in the next wave.
Vowing to help Parler find new hosting, Bongino told the audience, “I will go bankrupt and destitute before I let this happen.” Calling on the public to support the platform, he warned, “If Parler goes down, everyone else will be next.”
