(TargetLiberty.org) – The ReAwaken America Tour, which is a conservative conference supporting former President Donald Trump which holds events across the nation featuring many high-profile speakers, was protested by Christian organizations during its Miami spot.

The Miami conference is meant to take place from Thursday until Saturday evening according to the schedule posted online. The event featured speeches on opposition to the vaccine and other key issues, as well as a speech from Eric Trump, son of former President Donald Trump.

The Christian organizations, which included Christians Against Christian Nationalism, as well as Faithful American, protesting the conference however showed up with many signs and billboards featuring bible verses warning of “false prophets.”

Amanda Tyler, the lead organizer of Christians Against Christian Nationalism and executive director of the Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty, in a statement to Newsweek, pointed out that she attended the conference only to see that Christian imagery and language were brought intermixed with language relating to conspiracy theories about the  vaccine and the elections. She noted that the reason they organized the protest was that they were appalled to see their faith being twisted  so as to “spread lies, violence, and authoritarian theocracy.” She added that millions of Christians across the U.S. were mad about Christian nationalism and their protest was meant to show them that they were not alone.

The conference is known for many of the controversial topics and remarks that the speakers make. In October, speaker Bo Polny had spoken about an “angel of death” that would be “coming for” many politicians including President Biden.
