(TargetLiberty.org) – There’s a lot of misinformation about the COVID-19 pandemic floating around on the internet. It turns out, the CDC could be one of the superspreaders for that information.
According to a new government report, revealed by the NY Post on November 26, the CDC’s coronavirus numbers are likely way off. The health organization has said it believes roughly 53 million Americans have contracted the virus, and 2.4 million were hospitalized with it at some point. But the Post estimates the number of infections is probably closer to 100 million because, for every person who tests positive, the agency believes it misses about 8 cases.

If true, that would mean if the number of deaths is correct, then the actual fatality rate is much lower than thought. Of course, it could be higher since those numbers could be wrong as well. The problem now is that the information changes so often, it’s hard for the American people to know what to trust at this point.
