(TargetLiberty.org) – President Biden is getting a taste of the chaos he’s inflicting on southern states, after more illegal immigrants arrived in Washington, DC last Thursday. The migrants – two busloads of them – had been sent from Texas.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) has been a vocal critic of the Biden administration’s security failures at our southern border. It’s no surprise because his state has suffered the worst of the migrant influx.
Following through on earlier threats to bus migrants to Democrat-leaning cities, he ordered the Texas Division of Emergency Management to screen immigrants released from federal custody – often into small Texas towns being overwhelmed by their numbers – and find volunteers to travel to Washington, DC. On April 21, the ninth and tenth buses made the trip and dropped off their passengers just blocks from the Capitol.

Abbott said, “the Biden Administration will be able to more immediately meet the needs of the people they are allowing to cross our border” as he announced the busing program. Now the president will have the chance to deal with the consequences of eliminating Title 42, the Trump-era policy that allowed the US to return illegal immigrants to Mexico. Biden decided to let them stay in the US instead, but dropped the burden on border states. Now it’s being moved closer to home, and could move closer yet. Abbott is considering sending the next buses to Biden’s home state of Delaware.
Will that be enough to make the administration finally make sense of everything?
