( – Hunter Biden, the President’s son, recently expressed strong disapproval of the ongoing investigations by House Republicans. He openly criticized their actions during a public statement outside the Capitol, defying the private deposition requested by House Republicans following a subpoena. Hunter Biden emphasized his willingness to testify, but only in a public setting.

He condemned the repetitive nature of the allegations against him, particularly those linking his father’s support for Ukraine to an alleged bribe, despite these claims being discredited. Hunter Biden highlighted the personal attacks he’s faced, including the public display of his explicit photos during a House Oversight hearing. He accused the investigators of twisting his father’s affection for him into something negative and said they lacked any sense of shame.

In a pointed reference to a July incident, Hunter Biden recalled how Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) used sexually explicit images at a House Oversight Committee hearing. These images, censored with black boxes, were allegedly from a laptop hard drive claimed to be Hunter Biden’s. They were intended to suggest improper financial dealings involving prostitutes.

Specifically naming House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-Ky.), House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), and House Ways and Means Committee Chair Jason Smith (R-Mo.), Hunter Biden accused them of distorting facts and lying about his personal and professional life. He acknowledged his financial irresponsibility during his addiction struggles but dismissed the idea that this should lead to an impeachment inquiry as absurd and shameless.

Hunter Biden’s remarks coincide with Republican efforts to formalize an impeachment inquiry against President Biden with a House vote. Furthermore, he recently shared his thoughts on a podcast, calling out certain Republican Congress members, including Greene, as “sad” and “sick people.” He reflected on realizing that these attacks were not personally about him but rather actions of individuals he perceives as troubled.
