Biden Forgets Rep. Is Dead — Asks for Her During Speech
(TargetLiberty.org) – On August 3, Representative Jackie Walorski (R-IN) tragically lost her life in a car crash. Before her death, she helped plan the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health, alongside a handful of other lawmakers in the Lower Chamber.
On September 28, President Joe Biden stood at the podium during the conference, thanking all those who made the event possible. While running down the list of legislators, he called out for the deceased representative, asking, “Jackie, are you here? Where’s Jackie?”

The momentary lapse in memory didn’t go unnoticed, as many saw his latest in a long line of gaffes as a sign of mental decline. Some dismissed the error as a mere mistake. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Walorski was “on top” of the president’s mind at the time. She said, in that case, calling her out in that setting was not “unusual.”
The late representative’s brother, Keith Walorski, spoke out about the matter. While he admitted the gaffe was a “big mess-up,” he wasn’t mad about the error. The grieving sibling simply feels pity for the president.
Representative Vicky Hartzler (R-MO) was less forgiving, saying the error was a “disgraceful blunder” for which Biden should apologize.
Do you think the misstep is further evidence of a man struggling with his mental faculties, or do you feel it was just a momentary lapse in memory?
