(TargetLiberty.org) – Joe Biden is the Democratic Party’s presumptive candidate to faceoff against President Trump in November. He’s now facing charges he sexually assaulted a female staffer in 1993. That would stop most candidacies dead in their tracks.
However, the Progressive Liberals have decided that nothing is going to get in the way of removing Trump from office, not even the hypocrisy of doing a complete one-eighty on the #MeToo movement. Although House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) once wrote during the Senate confirmation hearings for SCOTUS Justice Brett Kavanaugh, that “[w]e should stand with survivors – not punish them when they decide to speak out,” she just gave a ringing endorsement of Biden for the highest office in the land.

Pelosi’s endorsement came days after a video of the alleged victim’s mother surfaced. Apparently, she called into CNN’s Larry King Live show back in 1993 and described what happened to give the alleged event a new life in the public eye. If this were a criminal trial, she’d be known as an outcry witness — a vital component of verifying the truth of a victim’s story. The idea is that while a survivor of rape or sexually-based assault may feel too much-misplaced shame to go public, telling someone of the attack when it happened lends credence to the claim.
It should come as no surprise to anyone that the political left and their agenda pushers in the media apply their ostensible standards to everyone but themselves. But, backing a man accused of one of the most heinous crimes on the books for president goes far beyond their typical twaddle.
