( – On Tuesday, President Biden shared a message of unity after he received the necessary delegates in order to officially win the Democratic presidential nomination.

Biden argued ahead of the general election in November that when he had first run for office four years ago he had believed there was a battle for the soul of the United States. He noted that the American people had allowed them to win that battle and that he was honored to represent the Democratic Party’s rich diversity.

Biden pointed out that the Democratic Party voters have once again placed their faith in him to lead the country. He added that currently, former President Donald Trump posed an even bigger threat than ever before.

The Decision Desk HQ had stated that Biden had won the Democratic primary in Georgia which put him over the age providing him with enough delegates to win the nomination. With this latest win, it is almost completely guaranteed that in 2020 there is going to be a rematch between former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden.

Biden had argued that the American people were going to continue moving the country into the future and that after every crisis the U.S. has come out stronger and more united. He added that this November was not going to be an exception to this and that he believed this was something that they would all do together.

The president had also claimed that Trump’s campaign was one of “resentment, revenge and retribution” and was threatening American democracy and freedom.
