(TargetLiberty.org) – House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Kentucky, revealed to Fox News that more witnesses would still be released in connection to his panel’s investigation into the alleged bribery scheme involving President Biden and other members of the Biden family.
Comer specifically told “Life, Liberty & Levin” that along with other lawmakers they had taken more action than the Justice Department or executive branch Cabinet offices to properly look into the information of this case. He added that they did as much as they could, especially when considering all the obstacles put in their way.
Comer pointed out that no one had believed they would be able to get access to bank records, the Treasury, or the Cabinet’s suspicious activity reports, but that they had been relentless and had prevailed in gaining all this evidence. He also noted that mainstream media had claimed after they got the report that there wasn’t anything there.
However, Comer has argued that his probe has led to the discovery of indirect wire transfers from Romania and China to the Biden family, dating back to Joe Biden’s time as vice President. Allegedly these wire transfers were made through shell companies to nine members of the Biden family.
Outside of the wire transfers, the discovery of an FBI 1023, which contains information about an alleged bribery scheme has helped draw forward the investigation, with lawmakers arguing that the FBI and Justice Department had not taken any action to look into the bribery allegations contained in the document.
