He added during Tuesday’s daily briefing that their support for Israel continued to be unwavering and that the Secretary was looking forward to arranging a meeting with the Israeli government and its officials in order to continue the conversations that ensued following the attacks on Saturday.

On Tuesday, President Biden condemned the terrorist attacks launched by Hamas and vowed that the United States would provide Israel their full support. He added that the U.S. was standing with Israel and would ensure that all of the Israeli needs were covered so that the nation could protect its land and people. He added that there was “no excuse” for the terrorism that had unfolded and that Israel had every right to not only defend itself but also retaliate.
