Arizona Counties Protecting Gun Rights

Arizona Counties Protecting Gun Rights

( – Across Arizona, citizens are coming together to ask their cities and counties to protect their right to bear arms. Recently, two more counties declared themselves “Second Amendment sanctuary counties.”

La Paz and Yavapai counties both passed unanimous resolutions to uphold the Constitution of the United States.

The new measures ban county supervisors from spending money or resources enforcing laws that infringe on gun rights. The moves come after Mohave County passed a similar law in November last year.

Across the country in states like Virginia and Kentucky, citizens are fighting to maintain their inalienable rights. The right to bear arms “shall not be infringed” is what our Founding Fathers said, but the opposite is happening. Virginia is trying to push through more than half a dozen anti-gun bills. Presidential candidates are talking about banning some guns and even magazines.

The only way to prevent the erosion of our rights is for people, like those in Arizona, to stand up and speak out.
