2024 Republican Candidate Builds Tight Bond With Trump

GOP Leaders Call For Second Hearing of New Biden Official

(TargetLiberty.org) – On Monday during a town hall organized by NewsNation, Republican presidential candidate and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy stated that if he wins the White House in 2024, then former President Donald Trump could possibly be one of his advisors.

During the town hall in Chicago, Ramaswamy told host Leland Vittert that Trump’s performance as the U.S. president was “excellent.” He added that Trump’s victory against Hillary Clinton in 2016 had been very important politically as it stopped the left from taking over the institutions and U.S. government. He added that if he wins he expects to call on Trump as an adviser so that they can move the America First agenda even further, while also “shutting down the administrative state.”

He added that while there were certain forces that had stopped Trump, he does not believe those will stop him and that he is happy to gather insight from everything that Trump had learned during his presidency while also learning what he would have done differently.

Ramaswamy also stated that he has never talked negatively about any of the other Republican candidates because he believes that each one of them will have a role to play in the nation’s revival. He added that at least a few of the candidates would also be possible options for certain Cabinet positions in his administration.

Trump is currently leading the Republican presidential primary race by double digits. According to the Real Clear Politics average Trump is in first place with 54.5 percent support, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is in second place with 14.8 percent, and Ramaswamy is in third place with 6.3 percent.
